Tyler Banks – President
Having served in the United States Marine Corps, many valuable leadership lessons were learned. Mr. Banks started doing business in 2006, at which time he began purchasing distressed properties. These distressed properties were renovated and resold. Quickly he saw the demand for a general contractor that could renovate in a professional quality manor. Being the opportunist that Mr. Banks is, he saw a need for masonry restoration in Baltimore City. Therefore, with two years of being a general contractor under his belt, he put together the resources to specialize in restoring masonry. So by 2008 not only was Mr. Banks a general contractor who was developing properties but was also specializing in brick restoration. His ability to adapt during a changing market place has given him a competitive advantage to others in the industry.
Staff
TD Development hires efficient and capable staff and continuously trains them in all aspects of the company from masonry and restoration to professionalism and business management. Every member of the staff is fully insured with Workers Compensation Insurance for their protection and the protection of the client. The lead staff attends Worksite Safety Training Programs to ensure the protection of all employees, customers, and properties. Environmental Stance
It is important to always be as environmentally friendly as possible. With all of the chemicals and hazardous materials used during its construction projects, TD Development makes a strong point to take extreme precaution on every job site. For instance, when scaffolding is setup around the building’s brick facade, a dyke (natural or artificial slope or wall to regulate liquid levels) is built around it with spray foam insulation in order to capture the chemicals used in the spraying process. This prevents any harmful debris from washing into the storm drains. It is a large problem in this business when products are not used and disposed of properly. TD Development makes sure to use only the safest practices. This is why we hire a certified company to pick-up, transport and dispose of hazardous waste that is generated durning the job.
